That’s it!

I clearly wasn’t googling correctly and started to think I made it up

No, there was Fields, when i nailed Sea Hero, i had him wheeled, but prarie bayou nailed the field horse(sellers up), by a nose, and cost me a ton.

Field actually cost the bettors money. Sellers horse would of been 40-50/1.

I could be wrong, but that was one of the last years they had the field. Bettors were getting screwed, and toteboards couldn't handle the amount of horses at the time.

Wild Gale was the horse Sellers rode in that race.

What I'm hearing: KY Derby favorite (Omaha Beach?) will scratch on Saturday due to entrapped epigiottis.

ETA: What my buddy told me. He is at CD waiting for his horse run Sat. morning on the undercard.

Pharoah factor.

Wesley ward horse? He often runs his 2 yr old fillies against boys. Rate for him not to be the favorite in a baby race.

Just looked. I think that’s the 1/2 to hootenanny. My mother will be excited if snell yeah wins. She sent an article on him.

I think she’s the winner. We should leave her out and pick head to head horses in the oaks

Also, I’m all kinds of nostalgic today. Just referenced the Budweiser longshot in the lunch thread

According to Churchill Downs starter Scott Jordan, if there is another scratch to reduce the field to 19, the inside stall in the starting gate will be left open and the runners would be loaded into stalls 2 (for War of Will) through 20.

Did Bodexpress move to the 12 hole? I thought new comers got stuck farthest outside (20) and everyone else slid closer to the rail outside of the scratch?

He’s still wearing 21 and just goes to the outside. One reason McPeek didn’t enter signalman since he has a pretty nasty cut on his eye and he knew he’d take dirt if they got in.

I think they usually move one off the rail with a scratch for safety

Good Luck all

I quit the horses and sports betting. As the stable guy used to tell us as he was laying the owners money on the horse to win, "Nail them with both hands"

I’m a fan instead of a gambler.

Boring, I know

Winston, how did the track play today?

Also, are we not doing a no bellafina oaks head to head?

Ralph Michaels on WagerTalk is a mad man when it comes to picking MLB and NBA. Derby won't help you, but I thought I should share. He's my man when it comes to legit handicappers
