So far, score totals at home:
Pens 15 Preds 4
Preds 9 Pens 2 (through 2)
The energy of this cup is oustanding, but it's due for a close one. I watched around 8mins of the game last night when it became clear that Nashville errantly sent their AHL affiliate.
I kid, but the Pens stepped it up fierce (I think partly in response to their crowd, who had been challenged and was in a lather) and skated rings around Nashville. It looked like a defending champ taking on the Milwaukee Admirals.
Maybe the cardiac OT game happens Sunday, but if trends hold then it's the Pens skating the cup in PPG next week.

It's my opinion that there should be one off day between every game regardless of who advances. It shouldn't be that burdensome if Anaheim or some other West Coast team advances. Would have been awesome to have another Saturday night game. And all the fans have a non work day to recover.

They are just showing off the massive amount of partying going on and the huge interest there is in the Preds. The NHL has got to be loving how Nashville has brought this atmosphere to the Cup finals. NHL gets to show the sport is a big deal.
