Sad times for Lakers fans
Nah. I mean, this sucks but at least we have young pieces like Russell, Randle and Clarkson to build around plus tons of flexibility. That's two things the Knicks don't have.
We will be back sooner than later.

Russell has played zero NBA minutes and Randle has played like 5. You don't know if you have anything there yet.
Porzingis (sp?) could be loads better than both of them for all we know.

And? We have a young corps going forward that most people think highly of. Can they flop? Of course. But it's far from being a shitty time to be a laker fan, like the past two summers have been.

Happy to see that the Mavs will suck for the foreseeable future.

If that happens, I better get League Pass because I won't be watching a Mavs game
And I just realized I need a new avi

Maybe you're right but no one in their right mind would trade LA's position with New York's. A maxed out aging Carmelo and....? Maybe Porzingis is a stud but I would say it's much more likely that he's like every other Euro lottery pick since Pau Gasol.

Mavs on life support.

Still some decent talen out there.
Id like to see the Cavs target a guy like Jameer Nelson OR Shane Larkin to back up Kyrie
Cavs need a shooter if they dont brin JR back, could they afford a guy like Anthony Morrow or Jason Terry?

Cavs are gonna try and get JR Back.
After that they are gonna use Haywood contract to try and get some more players. Spurs still need to create more space to get LMA. Cavs REALLLY want Patty Mills.
Their only 2 needs are backup PG and backup SF

Did Kobe leave or did he stay until he won championships?
You proved my point and were too seemingly obtuse to even realize it.
Kobe brought the team down, then blackmailed them, and that is supposed to be admired?
Players give their all to teams and then leave for a better chance to win a title, and they are to be blamed? LeBron takes a paycut to help build a championship team, yet he is a coward, while Kobe holds the Lakers hostage with his contract preventing them from improving and he's a great "competitor".

I'm still hoping that Corey Joseph, Rodney Stuckey, or Ty Lawson is in Houston by the end of this offseason.

Larkin is going to the Nets, 2 years 3 mil.

Did they need to clear space for LA?

Dear God no. Maybe he'd be better in Dallas because he wouldn't take 5,000 mid range jumpers a game, but I do not like it.
