The rumor is the 5th year is a team option and there is some non-guaranteed money worked in.

Not sure why people are saying he won't fit gentrys scheme. Bogut surely did. Was bogut ineffective in some matchups? Yes. Did he finish games on the bench? Yes. Doesn't matter he was a key cog.

Philly with swap rights? That's a joke right? As bad as the Kings will be, the Sixers will be worse. Is that valid if the Kings somehow won the lotto? Philly could swap their third pick.

Yeah it is just increasing Phillys odds for Ben Simmons or the next great big man.

@RealGM
Both the Lakers and Knicks would be far better off doing the trade the 76ers just made with Sacramento than signing Greg Monroe.

I'd like for Gentry to put stickem on his hands and tell that ogre to actually dunk.

There remains a massive difference of opinion between what George Karl thinks is what is best for the team and what Vivek/Vlade are doing.

Hearing that the final year of Omer Asik's new contract in New Orleans is not guaranteed. Guaranteed cash in the deal roughly $45 million

It's basically 4/45

Jeeze, I'm taking crazy pills because I'm with you on this one. Asik can set a mean screen which is a huge part of Gentry's offense. Combine him with Erman's freakishly meticulous attention to detail and Asik will easily earn his money.

It's trade rape.

Sixers are sending an overseas guy that IS NOT Saric

They're getting dead salary. Stauskas, a top 10 protected 1st, and (possibly) two pick swaps that will go into effect after Philly starts trying to win again. It's a pretty damn great trade.

I think they're bringing Rondo and Ellis in with the hopes it will just cause Karl to quit so they don't have to pay him

And the swaps are with a chaotic franchise in the Western conference.

I am liking what the Raptors are doing too. If they land Matthews they are moving up in the East.
