Why would we want marginal guys? Then you end up in the middle of the pack.
In the NBA you should be tanking or competing for Championships.
Right now we aren't close to competing so we have to swing for the fence. Unfortunately it looks like none of these younger guys have the balls to play with Kobe so we're just going to have to wait.

I love buying low on stauskas, shot 44% from 3 in college. Getting him in a salary dump so the kings can go sign rondo and/or monta would be hilarious.
