So far, Clippers able to keep everyone else out of house, including Cuban, agents. Everyone. They're in four-corners until midnight Eastern.
This really is a joke. This makes, Jordan, both teams, and the league look like idiots.

And how pitifully soft and weak minded is DeAndre Jordan to allow himself to literally be trapped in his own house?

WTF is this?

Sometimes smart people really just out think themselves. This could easily be solved if the league just started free agency AFTER the moratorium ended. Why are teams agreeing to deals before the cap numbers even come out? Its just dumb.

Really. I'll be damned if anyone is trapping me in my own damn house. I'm a grown arse man.

Also, this whole thing just opens up the opportunity to frick over your rivals by tying up their cap space and pulling the rug out from under them when everyone else is already committed elsewhere.

Here's concern within some front offices right now: Will Mavericks come chasing our committed free agents if they have new-found cap space?

SO MUCH POPCORN

Seriously, it's childish what he and the Clippers are doing. Entertaining as frick, but childish.

Why not just start free agency with no moratorium after the numbers come out? This moratorium is stupid.

Seriously, wtf is going on...this is the most absurd stuff I've ever heard of

We go from Chris Paul disliking Jordan, which is why he felt wanted with the Mavs, to CP on the verge of tears in a last-ditch meeting? seems legit

Changes of heart happen-- it's frown upon but I think his track record as a good dude gives him the benefit of the doubt.

Teams would do it to players in a heart beat and I wonder if u would be in here driving them in the ground .

This is why players SHOULD never take discounts. Get and take as much as you can however whenever. Do what's best for you -- the organization will always do that. Dirk wastes his last few years betting on Mark Cuban and dan fegan...

One person not in the meeting or the house with DeAndre Jordan right now -- his agent Dan Fegan. It's just DJ & the Clippers coaches/players

I don't think he's in THAT much trouble. All indications are that he's got nothing to do with Jordan's backing out and is trying to change his mind.

Guaranteed contracts in the NBA, it's a little different than the NFL when it comes to messing with a man's livelihood.

This may change it. I know Boozer did something similar, but he wasn't as big of a FA at the time as Jordan is now.

At least according to the league, the moratorium is when they get together to figure all the numbers.

One way or another, just start free agency after all that shite gets done.

They aren't trapping him. If he didn't want them there they wouldn't be there.

All DJ wanted was to feel wanted.

I get that and agree, but not every situation is perfect. That's how it should be but in a few rare cases, it doesn't happen.

Contracts might be guaranteed but their are certain stipulations in contracts that we are unaware of. Trade kickers, insurance policies, bonuses, clauses, etc. also, when you're the first person in your family to make a boat load of money, if you're trying to establish a family legacy, every dollar counts
