I got tossed out only once for knocking a dude out that swung at me first. Bouncer just laughed it off but had to boot me

But really, the clippers are literally just chris paul and blake. Is that enough?

So woj said earlier today that kobe was the only part LMA liked about his laker meeting. But Kobe is the issue

@ChrisPalmerNBA: Clippers will make a massive push for Kevin Durant next year. Mutual interest.
.000001% chance.
He will be in a Washington or LAL jersey.

Kobe's main issue is his contract, but I don't blame him for taking it. It's just tough to say you want to win at all costs but take that ridiculous contract at the same time.
I'm sure Lamarcus loved how badly Kobe wants to win because every player wants to have people like that on their team. Especially when you have the history of being a winner that Kobe does.

I've thought he would be a Laker for a long time. But the Clippers now make a lot more sense

If you would have told this to me a few years ago I would have laughed so hard.. I mean the Clippers over the Lakers...
Still getting used to the LA switch up

Well see. Depends on how our youngins look

If KD ends up with the Clippers and Westbrook ends up with the Lakers, the Harden rumors would be unbearable.

I'm not sure of the FA but someone big will follow KD to LAL if he signs. Pair that with Russell, Clarkson, Randle, Lou, and possibly Hibbert and the Lakers are going to be ready push for a deep playoff run. Nobody is more capable of resurrecting the Laker brand than KD right now. There are millions of fans in hiding waiting for something like this to happen.

I'm still interested to see if Durant can play a full season without any foot problems. If he does that, I will be a believer that he can unfortunately bring the Lakers back.

True he needs to remain healthy next year. I would really hate to see his career be shortened due to health.

Why yall keep acting like a bunch of unproven rookies and a shite coach are going to lure top players to LAL is just baffling to me.
Yall aren't getting anyone until you get a coach and at least get into the playoffs.

I hate the lakers almost more than any team, but I actually think they have a pretty decent young core and Los Angeles (especially the lakers) is an ideal destination for a lot of players. If they don't make the playoffs this season Scott will be gone which should help a lot.

Who was the last big FA who signed there?

people dont want to play with kobe, at least this last few years version of Kobe

Probably Shaq in 96 which was the last time we had massive cap space until this year. The Lakers also had a great core of young players that year too that was attractive enough to help pull Shaq from Orlando

Haven't yall had tons of cap space the last 2 off seasons?
And Shaq came when yall had a good coach and were also a 50+ win team.
Lakers will not be an attractive team to come to until they show they aren't a lottery team.
If they can show some promise and get ~40+ wins this season AND get rid of Scott then maybe they will be attractive. Until that happens I can't see anyone wanting to go there.
I mean shite. If you had to choose between playing for the clips or the lakers right now who would you choose?
One has 2 top 10 players in the league and a top 5-10 coach in the league
One has a bunch of nobody's and rookies and an aged superstar who should be retiring and a shitty coach.
