No one is talking about how fricking unaware Harden was on the final play too.
Dude doesn't help at all on Lillard. You have to show a little bit on the best player on the court. HIs head isn't even turned.

Uhhhh what? He isn't close enough to help. The only person who can possibly help on that play is the guy covering the person inbounding the ball.

He isn't close enough to help once Lillard has the ball.
It's an obvious stagger screen (or brush) away for Lillard. Easy to read because Portland's options are limited due to time.
Harden does nothing. He doesn't show at all to the top of the key when Lillard makes his initial break.
It was terrible by him, Parsons, and really just the entire Rockets defense.

Even if Harden attempts to help when he sees Lillard go in motion he has no chance of getting close enough to affect the shot. Like I said, the defender covering the person inbounding the ball is the only one who can possibly help. Blaming anyone but Parsons is stupid anyway.

If Harden jumps the play, he can force Lillard farther out, either forcing a farther shot or forcing the inbound place to go to another player entirely.
Harden needs to be ready to show and recover on a screen in his position. He did absolutely nothing.
