we'll see.

Oh and Stricker and Tiger being the last 2 says something, but he knew they'd get favorable match-ups there anyway because the EUROS had to go heavy early to make up ground.

Here's how I see it.

Donald edges Watson 1 up
Poulter over Simpson 2 & 1
McIlroy edges Bradley 1 up in a superb match
Rose over Mick 2 & 1
Sneds over Lawrie 3 & 2
Colsaerts edges Johnson 1 up
Johnson over McDowell 2 & 1
Furyk over Garcia 1 up
Dufner over Hanson 3 & 2
Kooch over Westwood 4 & 3
Stricker over Kaymer 2 & 1
Woods over Molinari 3 & 2

US wins singles 7 & 5, takes back the Cup.

Woods match may not matter. The U.S.A only has to get to 14-1/2. Once they hit that the rest of the matches are useless.

Peej, where in the hell have you been?

Interesting point. Even if we clinch early they still continue the matches in progress on the course don't they?

as long as keegan doesn't have his once a tournament quadruple bogie, he may be able to win that match.

Doesn't matter. With the US having the Cup in the bag this match will be the main reason for tuning in.

The great thing about match play is that a quadruple bogey is really no worse than a bogey.

What is the proper strategy for a singles lineup when you have a lead? Obviously the team trailing sends their best guys out first to try and put pressure on the late matches. But is the leading team suppose to fight fire with fire, or concede the early matches and put your own big boys at the end to face the weaker opponents?

I like your optimism, but the Cup isn't in the bag until we have 14 1/2 points.

It doesn't matter if he has his once a round quintuple bogey...It's Match play format... If he looses one hole it's not the end of the world!
