If I wouldn't have been 10-6, I'd agree. But knowing he had a huge lead, and that Europe needed to get off to a hot start, he should've sent out players who matched up best with their big guns. Maybe he wouldn't change the way it ended up after seeing the pairings, but if he really did mindlessly throw them out there like he's suggesting he did, that's a mistake.

I thought it would be better to do a reverse batting order style.

Put Tiger out first. He's the worst,

Save Keagan or Duffner for the last spot. Litter the lineup with the hot hand at the bottom of the lineup.

You know that DL3 knew Jose was going to front load his lineup.

We got outplayed today plain & simple. The Euros won, congrats to them.

All they needed was 4 1/2 measly points. It was an epic fail by the players, not DLIII... although I would've approached the first few pairings differently.

Right, you needed your golfers early to win to even have a chance given the deficit.

Disagree...think that putting the old, choke artists at the end was a huge mistake. you need clutch players back there in case it comes down to that, which it did.

Will Stricker be able to sleep for the foreseeable future? Guy was the absolute worst the entire week.

He made the par. The bigger WTF was his chip he skulled on 17.

For the life of me I had no idea why he didn't putt that.

So Tiger Woods is an old choke artist. You really need to think twice before you hit the Send button.

What would the team been like with Fowler and Hunter? We'll never know but they wouldve done more than Furyk and Stricker.

Only thing I can think is that they were there, got the experience, and they'll get in the 2014 cup. Could be that was DL3's way of having Jimbo and Steve play RC one last time.

I was referring to Furyk and Stricker, who were in the final quarter of the matches...and my button says "submit" on it.

They couldn't have done much worse...hard to imagine that they would have. BTW I threw a couple WDE's in there when Dufner putts dropped.

Let me just clarify that DL3 didn't know the order the European team lineup would be. My only criticism is that he's making it seem like he implied that he didn't give much thought to his lineup. Maybe the quote was taken out of context.

And, although there's going to be 2nd guessing when you lose a lead this big, it isn't Love's fault. As CO said, the Euros just outplayed the US today. Yea, some guys choked coming down the stretch, but it happens in one of, if not the most, pressure packed events in sports.

The moral of the story is Steve Stricker sucks dick and should not have even been on the team...

Those two had been playing awful for at least a month leading into the event. Bo Van Pelt should've been on the team ahead of both of them

DLIII had to at least consider that it could come down to the last few matches, and he needed to avoid the possibility of the Ryder Cup resting on the shoulder's of our struggling players (Tiger, Stricker, Furyk)

I think DL3 and his assistants knew Jose was going to front load the lineup with his horses. Jose Feliciano & Stevie Wonder probably knew it.

Bottom line, as I've stated previously. We got drilled by the Euros between the ropes in the singles matches. That's where they won the Ryder Cup and congrats to them.
