I hate the tie rule. FWIW. Always have...

Yep, it's just never been an issue in my lifetime. Why set this up so that a tie is even possible?

The match means shite now. They won the Cup. Concede and go enjoy the win with your teammates

He also had the misfortunate of playing with Stricker. You put Tiger on someone else's team and you get at least 1 win out of him in a foursome/four-ball.

Imagine Tiger vs Rory, sudden death for the cup. That's what the Presidents Cup did with Tiger and Vijay several years ago.

I'm willing to bet Molinari told them he was going to try and win the cup outright

I'm not blaming it on the format...just sucks that a tie is possible. No matter who benefits from it.

The Ryder Cup experience to pick the captain's picks is crap. The US has been blasted in the last 10 Ryder Cups. We need new blood. Look at Keegan Bradley, no experience, but he was our best player.

Still doesn't change the fact that the Tiger-Stricker pairing was a terrible decision in the first place.

Definitely not. The euros outplayed the US today. But after its all said and done, the matches were dead even, but one team is celebrating. Just strange.
