I wonder if they made up before this year.

I do want to go on record saying that there is no better coach for Clemson, right now.

I understand some of you hate past success purchasing more time when it looks like the game has passed him by.

But if Dabo will hire a good GM, I think his approach is good enough to win the ACC. National title may be out of reach, but he's earned the right to have one more year.

Tyler was right that Dabo was slipping but Dabo was right in a "who the frick you think you talking to?" way.

In today's football with boosters and NIL, he was talking to a shareholder who was unhappy with the direction of the company.

I honestly don’t have a problem with what Dabo said. Sometimes you internet dorks do expect perfection from these coaches. Every single thing they do is overanalyzed by people who have no basic experience

And please, save me all the ‘yea but he makes $___ to do his job’ bullshite. I get that, but what these guys do is really, really difficult and only the elite coaches have long term, sustained success

Hot take: Ryan Day didn't lose the game vs Texas, the players did. So many opportunities to put it away on the field were squandered.

People need to take a step back and see the forest for the trees of life.

The guy dyes his beard, that should be all you need to know about the character and insecurities of Ryan Day.

Dabo is a dork and will be fired when the buyout is palatable. His approach to portal and NIL was so dumb and arrogant.

Even Kirk Ferentz, the guy who vacations in his backyard and treats the world like it’s 1982, jumped on the wagon immediately and rode the wave of change

Tyler was right about a lot at the end of the call but the first thing he did was compare Dabo to Tommy Bowden, who never won 10 games at Clemson, then call him overpaid. Dabo is a dinosaur and he might be stealing money now but he definitely earned his way up to that.
It's basically a shareholder telling Michael Jordan he needs to step it up because Nike's stock is in the tank.

Ohio St fans want Day fired, again, after Saturday. Very relevant to this thread.

We give Dabo a lot of shite and rightfully so. I've never liked that shite bird. But at least he has won something. Have y'all ever heard that fig Dan Lanning? Insufferable and whined about having to be on food stamps as a GA at Alabama. Give me a fricking break.

Dabo is a fossil who’s is as responsible for Clemson’s fall as he was for its rise. He’s lucky he plays in a shitty conference.
