Free agent John Franklin III, if signed by a club, is also ineligible to play in the next three games. All three players have accepted the discipline and waived their right of appeal. The suspensions are effective immediately.

NFLPA represented the three players during a joint NFL-NFLPA review into the recent allegations that players misrepresented their vaccination status under the NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 Protocols. Review supported those allegations and found that the three players violated the protocols.

Is that the same John Franklin III from Last Chance U? He swapped from QB to WR and made a pro team?

Sure glad the NFLPA is standing up for their players' rights so diligently.

sounds like this rule was collectively bargained by the NFL & the PA previously... so there's nothing to really discuss once both sides realized there was enough evidence to say these 3 did what they were alleged to have done

Isn’t AB already missing the next two games with injury? What a weak punishment. The Saints lost draft picks for not wearing masks in a locker room after a football game

Trying to fight for guys who purposefully lied doesn't seem like the hill to die on for the NFLPA IMO.

Did the Saints even try to appeal that punishment? I remember last year being a shitshow with teams not following guidelines to a t. The nfl also bent over backwards for the ravens the entire year.

After seeing how many dudes are having heart attacks on the pitch in Europe it's a no brainer.

They lied about getting vaccinated. Plenty of players aren’t vaccinated and are playing football. Don’t turn these two into martyrs.

Could this potentially become a federal crime if they chose to pursue? I’ve heard the penalties could theoretically be severe.

They must read the OT board. A third of it said that was their plan.

Antonio Brown was likely out this week and next week with an ankle injury. Now out three weeks total. He can return Dec. 26 at the #Panthers.

You would think this would be very easy to dispute if he were actually vaccinated.
