Tut ended up as the OC at East St. John with Foster and a few other coaches that have HC experience. It will be interesting to see the athletes at ESJ running the Wing T.

Mike Todd was mentioned early on. Known him since he taught me in HS. Had a classmate go and work for him at Tara. He's a good man. Not sure as far as his ability to coach, but a good quality human being.

David SIMONEAUX from Central is the next big promotion from BR area. Played at Parkview and successfully coached as OC at 5A level. Watched him out out coach teams repeatedly that had superior talent.

Have not heard anything about this, but anything is possible. The latest is Guy Blanchard resigned knowing that the Ascension Catholic Job was coming open. He has been in talks to become the new head coach and AD for the Bulldogs. Apparently the Sid Edwards Rumors have some wheels to them. He is apparently the top pick to be the new AD and HC at PAHS.

Stopped into Court City Cafe Yesterday evening and ran into Sid Edwards. Said he was in town visiting Friends and that he loves Port Allen (Found it interesting he was with a realtor). I would be surprised if he wasn't named a finalist. Word is Josh Laborde from Blanchard's Staff, Jason Davis from Zachary, Terrance Williams, and Don Jones are all in the running.

Sid Edwards has won two state championships in Football and one in basketball as a head coach. You want a fun fact? Sid didn't play a down of Football at Redemptorist High School. Yet he is considered the greatest coach in the history of that program and he owns a victory over J.T. Curtis in the 4A Championship Game. Just saying, I don't know Josh Laborde, but maybe the guy is a good X's and O's Coach.

Laborde is an alumnus who bleeds blue and knows the community and the kids fairly well. If not Edwards i beleive Laborde would be secomd choice.

Just spoke to some folks at Cash's Diner. Told me that Robert Signator turned in his application and Gary Adkins has expressed interest in returning.

Last I heard he was in Ville Platte. Don't know if he was at VPHS or SHVP.
