I work in Brusly. Chatter has already started about possible replacements. Bob Howell, Warren Capone, Terrance Williams, Mike Todd, Steve Thomas, and Bruce Hoffman are just a few of the names.

You should start hearing the name "Bud Kilmer" circulating for some of these openings shortly.

Naw, Kilmers time has passed. He hasn't coached in a while, and I heard he hit a few kids, and didn't really have his players best interest in mind, in regards to injuries and recruiting.

I can see Howell, he had a lot of success at plaquemine & other BR schools & probably wants to get away from east Jeff & back to BR
Terry williams needs a job with redempt closing, good coach who has public school experience
Can't see anyone hiring Capone
Hoffman never stays anywhere very long & didn't have a good stay on the West Bank last time
Not sure about thomas, he has been with brew a while
David Simoneaux at central gets his name thrown in a lot of places

Question: Are head coaching positions in EBR paid the same across the board no matter what school you're at(public). How much can coaches make at private schools vs public schools?

EBR has a salary scale depending on years, education, AD or teacher, coaching other sports etc so it depends on all those factors
Private schools make less in general for teachers but coaches there aren't as tied to salary scales so they can make more, just depends on the situation
Ascension pays a % of your salary which I think is the norm, Livingston used to do it by specific money amounts & gave a raise each year, just depends where you are

Darnell Lee is available. He worked a minor miracle and took Northwest to the playoffs. He is currently the DC at East Ascension.

As of now he is staying at PA as a teacher, he is a former Sid Edwards assistant so I could see him landing at central.
IMHO port allen is like dutchtown, loaded with talent & underachieving

Just spoke to a school bus driver in WBR whose son plays on the team and they said that The Head Baseball Coach at PA has applied for the Head FB Coaching job at PA. Another name that pops up with every opening is Sid Edwards. Also said that Blanchard resigned because the administration would not let him demote his OC and DC.

Has he coached anywhere since CLA?

Don't think Paul will Leave Bishop Sullivan. Seems to be pretty happy there from what I hear.

Oh I agree, but you still hear Saban's name tossed around every time there is an NFL opening.
