Take a shot a Maurice Hurst if he is there. Like what the Jags did with Myles Jack.

Not disagreeing with you, I believe even though it was a deep QB class, it was not one like past years with clear no miss guys. I was meaning I believe Allen will welcome any training or help and be willing to wait as long as needed. Just seems more down to earth to me. And who knows, a guy going from the 2nd round until the finish may end up better than all. I just didn’t like this QB class that much.

Cleveland drafting Mayfield is such a Cleveland thing to do.

It really is. Maybe he'll work out, but he didn't separate himself from Darnold, Rosen or Allen. I think the Jets played it perfectly to be honest. They were putting out lots of bait about Mayfield and at the last minute it looks like the Browns took it. They needed stability at the QB position, and I'm not sure Mayfield will be the franchise QB they're looking for. And if he doesn't work out, then it's not like they have S. Barkley to feed it 30 times a game either since they took a CB.

Their front office can go to the fans and show they got exactly who they wanted. They took Mayfield with everyone available and took Ward with Chubb available. They'll sink or swim with those guys, but I respect their conviction to get who they wanted.

Take Barkley #1, then they have their pick at either Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, or Allen.

Not sure if the Jets were serious about Mayfield, but at worse they get Darnold. They're a joke of an organization.

I don’t give AF about the nfl, so it shoudlnt come as a surprise that I just found out Baker Mayfield went #1 to the Browns.

Never change browns, never change.

Hope the DEs in the AFC North aren’t quicker than this cop.

And yet the Seahawks still had the worst pick of the night

Yes they did. He was like barely in the Top 10 of all RB's in the draft I believe.

Exactly. That organization is so doomed. It's like no one who knows anything about football works there. It really is a factory of sadness.

They took a top 10ish running back as the 2nd back taken over doing something to try to fix their offensive line

I'm not sure how I feel about the Falcons taking Ridley last night.

On one hand, we really needed a DT. And some good ones were there at the pick. They didn't address this in FA, and we really need a good DT in the draft. There is still time, but who knows if we can land a DT who can come in right away and make an impact now.

You are basically comparing Ridley to Taven Bryan (the only DL to come off the board after the falcons pick).

With the decrease in TD production last season, are you that confident in Bryan to be an immediate impact?

Quinn said he feels this class is very deep on the defensive line and they couldn't pass on Ridley. I'll be happy if we draft the best available interior d-lineman tonight.
