I would have thought they would have drafted a linebacker. They safety Edmunds seems like a reach, but I usually never doubt the Steelers when it cames to drafting defensive players. Did see they resigned Bud Dupree.

Mason Rudolph was sat down and interviewed after his pro day by the Steelers, so I think it was a gimme that they were going to get him. You had to get a feeling that once they drafted Washington to help replace Bryant, that Rudolph was going to be the next pick. The chemistry they had together in college, plus the speed Washington adds with an already deep receiving core.

All in all, I think the Steelers have had a solid draft, but I am shocked they didn't go more defensive after some of last year's performances (Pats, Jags, Dolphins, and Eagles).

Just taking a wait and see approach with the Raiders draft class. Not against bulking up the lines, because the success of the Raiders is determined on how healthy Carr is and his performances. Last season was a complete 180 from what we saw in '16, and in large part because of how the offensive line performed.

I'm not upset at taking Kolton Miller, because he has shown to be a versatile lineman. We released - thank god - Marshall Newhouse, and Donald Penn is now 35. Need someone who can instantly protect that right side, the slide over to protect Carr's blindside. Key, if he lives up to his potential, can be a steal in the 3rd. This was a guy that could have been a top 15 pick if he gave more effort and kept his head on right. P.J Hall looks good on tape, but you wonder how his game translates from division 2 to the NFL. We need someone who can start instantly up front after not resigning Autry.

Only pick I'm really skeptical on is Brandon Parker. Yeah, he didn't give up a sack at NC A&T, but he also had troubles in the senior bowl. 23 snaps, he gave up 2 sacks and got beat multiple times to and low pressure.

All in all, no real "sexy picks", but if you told me we were going to bulk up the lines this draft, I'd be satisfied. I'm sure the usual will happen; bloggers will give out their draft grades, and give the Raiders their proverbial F grade to be funny, while throwing remarks about Davis' bowl cut.
