Even as a lifelong LSU fan, this play call and execution made me a Bobby Bowden fan for life. Leroy Butler

Randy Moss
Peter Warrick
Laverneous Coles
Crazy to think all three of those guys could have suited up for the same team if Moss hadn't fricked up.

14 consecutive seasons with 10 wins or more. Just insane

I was always fond of FSU's linebackers in the 1990's:
Marvin Jones

Derrick Brooks

Sam Cowart
And this video is obligatory:

Didn’t he steal from a Dillard’s store?
Posted on 3/26/20 at 12:26 pm to Paul Allen
Yep - him and Laveranues Coles, whose nickname at the time was "Trouble."
Coles got kicked off the team but ended up having a really nice NFL career.

Was the Dillard's in Tallahassee or another city?
Posted on 3/26/20 at 12:47 pm to Paul Allen
Yep, it was the Tallahassee Dillard's. From what I remember, the cashier let them pay something like $20 for $400 worth of clothing.
One could do a fun tour of FSU football crime around Tallahassee, visiting that Dillard's, the Publix where Jameis got his crab legs, and the various bars where Sebastian Janikowski got into fights.
Speaking of which, the Polish Cannon deserves to be in this thread.
As does this clip of Scott Bentley, the other big-time FSU kicker, actually running down a Clemson safety who played in the NFL:

Didn’t they win like the first 10 ACC titles when they joined?
Posted on 3/26/20 at 1:18 pm to MikeyFL
I went to Clemson for the 99 game, first "Bowden Bowl", Bobby going for his 300th win, Warrick's first game back, all that. 85,000 people tied Dillard's bags to balloons and released them, and the damn PA announcer was chanting jailbird right along with the crowd. I've never seen that before

didn't Nebraska have something like 33 years in a row with 9 wins or more?
