16 days since things started shutting down. How do you feel?

I think it’s been 16. Time has been a blur. Anyway, I’m realizing how huge a part Sports has played in my life. I think this industry is one of the hardest hit.
I’ve heard people complain about not going to the movies, but there is still new stuff being released on Netflix, Hulu, etc. Plus, you generally don’t go to the theater every day.
This has been brutal. I’m losing more and more faith that the upcoming baseball season will get started in June, or even early July. Now, we have analysts suggesting CFB won’t be played.
As we question the situation as it pertains to the economy, I’ll pose the same question here. At what point is this not worth it? What is the magic number of cases we need to reduce to in order to get back on the field? If sports venues are still deemed unsafe, you can only assume schools will still be closed by the upcoming year as well.
It’s tough to fill the void in my life from a time perspective. I’ve watched the old games, but it only makes me hungry for the current.

Managing better than I thought I would. Obviously other forms of entertainment (Netflix, Amazon, etc) and alcohol are very helpful
But if they touch football then I might spiral

When the hardships and suffering of healthy Americans outnumber and outweigh the suffering of sick or dead Americans.

Yeah, definitely feels much longer than 16 days. I wonder what sport will be the first to come back?

I’m not sure. But I know the NFL is not missing a payday.

It is absolutely wonderful to not hear a damn thing about the NBA!

No reason MLB can't start in June and play in empty stadiums for a month. This is getting ridiculous.
There are 30-60K fatalities from the common flu every year.

The only thing I'm bummed about at this point is my annual pilgrimage to Augusta, so holding out hope it gets played in October, as it will be fricking amazing to say I got to go to that one.
I think the only time I would be truly upset is if it cancels football season - that would fricking suck.

This has made me reconsider my hobbies / my total lack of hobbies.
