I thought it was awesome. Best stream quality I think Ive ever had. I was watching it on my phone while at the grocery store and it was great.

Thursday night football out rates Monday Night Football?

yea i was astonished at that, is that a misprint? although more people get cbs than espn, so that must be why(even though the thursday matchups are usually garbage)

Yep.

The difference between cable and broadcast channels is pretty significant. It is the same reason why broadcast shows like 2 Broke Girls get 11.5 million viewers.

it's because of fantasy. and betting, even more so a combination of the two.

I hate fantasy so I just really don't get into it. I watch college football replays on Sunday over the NFL, mostly.

No it's not. There's no doubt fantasy helps it's popularity, but the NFL has been king for decades now.

I know this, maaaaaaan.

I'm saying it's prolonging it and keeping it so far ahead.

The product itself is still terrible this season.

I can't see it making that big of a difference.
If all you have is basic cable, i doubt you know that football exists. Do you know anyone under the age of 60 that has a TV but doesn't catch ESPN? And before you say someone that has cut the cord, don't b/c they have access to watchESPN more than likely if they've cut the cord.

I understand why you want that, but the NFL would be hemorrhaging so much money if they were to go that route.

Impossible. The NFL is dying and worse than ever. No way a Bills-Jags game from London at 8:30 AM EST had that many viewers. /sarcasm

It's true. I didn't watch the whole game, but the parts I did were excellent quality.

And you don't think the NFL will make revenue from ads during their hypothetical streaming broadcasts?
