Think this Bryson and Cobra spat is concerning?

They are probably just tired of him tinkering with their products. Did you see the "Face Forward" shite he was doing with their wedges?

he is the Pro version of "It's the equipment, not the swing" guy

Bryson has never hit a bad shot that was his fault. At least with Spieth he only blames Greller about half the time.

“Everybody is bending over backwards. We’ve got multiple guys in R&D ... trying to get this and that into the pipeline faster. (Bryson) knows it,” Ben Schomin, Cobra's tour operations manager, told Golfweek. “It’s just really, really painful when he says something that stupid.”

I can’t imagine why no one likes Bryson. He’s a spoiled baby. A man child that no one has put in his place.

I think it won't be long before Bryson tears something really important. The Open doesn't care by the way. In the meantime, all this excuse-making after rounds lately sounds very petty. How long is this guy going to keep it together?

So far, he's just another geek that has the emotional maturity of a 5-year-old. As the Cobra spokesperson so accurately and eloquently stated.

He'll be unbearable to the Cobra team when he goes out and shoots 65 while not touching his driver tomorrow.

Former Louisiana Tech golfer Sam Forgan, shot a 73 today.

He dropped a putt on 18 of the final qualifying tournament a couple weeks ago to make the field.

Great guy, really cool to see him there.

He's an absolute head case right now. I don't know if or when he ever breaks out of this.

This is dramatic. He won a tournament 2 months ago. Since then, he's played 3 big tournaments, and he has a 49th at masters, 7th at US open, and an 18th at memorial. He gained a full stroke on the field today, and is ahead of Rahm, JT, Reed, Cantlay and Bryson and 1 stroke behind brooks and Xander.

JT struggling now too. DJ was struggling last summer before he hit form and was the undisputed top golfer in the world for a stretch of a couple of months. He's now struggling a bit again. Brooks had far bigger struggles the last year than anything we've seen from Rory. He seems to be back. Cantlay missed 4 cuts in a row a couple months ago and is now in great form. Even rahm(who has incredible consistency) struggled a bit coming off of covid.

This is normal for elite golfers, and he's not even on THAT bad of a stretch. 95+% of PGA tour players would take his results from the last year. He's not playing like Spieth of the last few years. And even Spieth is out of his slump and back to being truly elite.

Smylie Kaufman shot an 87 today in the Barbasol.

9 shots back of the guy in second-to-last.

That is truly mind boggling.

Bryson’s biggest problem is he thinks his new approach to the game makes him that much better than everyone else. He bought into his own hype and he has forgotten how fickle golf is.

I won’t understand why he thinks he puts himself in a better position to win an open championship by going balls to the wall on every tee shot, instead of just playing smart golf and taking advantage of the opportunities the course gives you.

A guy in my office told me to put $5 on An. That would pay $2,000. So, um, that's what I want. But, I love seeing young Jordan in the fray, too. No filthy Euros for me. I am cool with South Africans, though.
