It sounds like course history matters here. Hopefully his team comes up w a solid game plan. Distance doesn’t really help.

His game is rounding back into shape after his back problems a couple of months ago, and he had a really good showing last week at the Scottish Open.

He has to hit it in the fairway this week, and driving accuracy is probably the biggest weakness in his game.

I also worry about the need to use his putter more than his wedge around the greens. Supposedly the course is going to be drier this week than normal, with more tight lies on hard surfaces. There’s going to be a lot of long putts from well off the green.

I think my man Speith takes home another major this weekend. The graphic on Grace being paired with the last 2 winners in the first 2 rounds alone will make me buy in a little more. Justin Rose my long shot this weekend.

I hit Sebastian Munoz FRL 60/1 for 2000 last week so I’m just rolling with the money in my account. Perez is a links specialist and typically plays his best golf in the early rounds before imploding. I certainly wouldn’t mind an opening 66 to at least have a good sweat on my hands throughout the first day.

eta: I’d advise downloading The Open app for shot tracking etc. if anyone’s into that. Unsure of how it’ll hold up but the format is nice

I don’t have Peacock premium so I’m debating hitting they hay right this second for few hours and tuning in at 4.

I’ve got an early tee time so figure I’ll watch for a few hours and then head out to play.

If I could watch starting at 1:30 I’d make a cup of coffee and ride it out.

What’s your plan?

I’ll be up. Was thinking about crashing, then waking up for Spieth/Bryson/Grace at 3:30, but in all likelihood I’ll just stay up.

I’m all too aware that I am a sicko.

I was hoping he made his way here

His demeanor was great as well.

The second he started answering his first question the golf channel host(can’t believe I forget his name) had to quickly bite his lip to keep from laughing

Living out on the West Coast, I have made it a tradition to stay up and watch the first few groups go off. Love this night.

It's always a fun watch because no split tees so you have only a few people playing.

Time to grab a beer and start watching!
