1st group has the Bullet in it. What more could you ask for?

My boy Dylan Frittelli in as the 9th alternate, thank you Covid

We are both the same age and born in Johannesburg so I’ve kind of adopted him randomly as my favorite golfer, don’t know him personally.

Well screw it. I was planning on getting a little nap in and waking up at 3 to start watching, but I find myself not being able to go to bed at this point. Gonna ride it out.

The bets I have in place for this week:

Outright winners: Speith, Cantlay, Brooks, Westy.

Top 10: Brooks, Speith, Xander.

Top 20: Rickie, Cink, Poulter

FRL: Rickie, Fleetwood

Thriving. Ready for Spieth to take the thick boy to the woodshed.

Dangit, we lost Dot.

He had an ambitious mission and put up a good fight.

Lift a coffee mug for our guy.

ETA: Jk he’s back.

Tom Abbott being surprised Bryson isn’t taking driver here is baffling.

Bunker down the right is in play with the driver. Have to be short of that.

What a delightful start this has been though.

ETA: I’m trying to get some work done tonight because I know I won’t be productive tomorrow

The par 5 on the front is playing ridiculously difficult right now into this wind. Gotta feel like birdie there is a win for any of these guys right now.

I’m sure folks are excited to wake up to pages of our gripping 4am commentary

First time seeing approaches on 1. Was Spieth’s shot as solid as they claimed? I know it’s firm and downwind but he only had 120.

There have been some people that hit pretty good shots in there, but most of those still landed 10-15 feet in front of the hole and then spun back a hair.

Spieth’s being in the 1st cut made the shot much more difficult to control that spin.

A playoff in the Scottish Open as pregame for the Euro final was quite the treat on Sunday

You working from home? That’ll make this Open so much easier to enjoy.

The Brits have started off well. I’ll be pulling for Westwood to get into major company. His wife/caddy total smoke show.

They sure have.

Looks like we have a serial upvoter. What a nice change from the usual.

If it’s you, well then keep up the good work
