I'm watching on the NBC Olympic Channel in 4k and the Golf Channel has a broadcast on YouTube TV. Morikawa shot insanely low. Saturday should be really interesting because the wind advantage in the morning rounds will be neutralized.

Rory said on Monday he thinks the course will start playing like an Open Championship by the weekend. So these scores will definitely even out.

What am I missing with his 64 that is more impressive than Louis' 64 24 hours ago? Even the Open app was talking about Morikawa making history with his round.

eta:
Maybe since it's his first Open appearance?

And now he’s got a great look at birdie.

He was on pace to set an Open record he just didn't get it done. He was dropping balls within 10 feet of every pin.
