You’re not fooling anyone Xander. You can never trust someone with an X in their first name.

Which is bullshite because they only tested 30 drivers. If you’re going to test 30, test them all.
In theory this would be the proper way to do it, however when exactly do they do the testing? Is it the Monday before the tournament, the Tuesday before the tournament or the Wednesday before the tournament? What if a few players withdraw a couple of days before the tournament and the alternates just get there the day before? John Daly was the 9th alternate when he won the PGA. It seems fair to test all the players but it also seems fair to do it in a way that they have a chance to replace the club if it fails and I'm not sure you could do both in all instances.

Golf takes its rules the most seriously of any pro sport, unless you’re talking about deflating footballs of course.

He should his illegal driver to give his peers who are teasing him a whack across a knee. I suspect that would stop the teasing.

This tournament got BORING real quick with Lowry leading. Tomorrow is going to suck just like NBCs coverage so far

You don't want to see them play in rain & 35 mph winds?
Posted on 7/20/19 at 8:06 pm to COTiger
They pushed the tee times up so the rain and wind will be irrelevant. They're basically doing everything possible to make this a runaway tomorrow.

It's only an hour or two ahead, right? I still think weather will wreak havoc. I assumed it would be more like what Augusta did.

The USGA and the R&A have really wussed out in recent years by bowing down to whatever the players want. All a player has to do is give an interview where he bags on them and they break down and do whatever they want

Lowry was in this exact same position at the US Open at Oakmont in 2016. 4 shots ahead after the third round.
I think Fleetwood will pull this out tomorrow.
But I'm pulling for Koepka.

Koepka is just too far back I think. It will be Lowry or Fleetwood. I think Lowry holds on.

Lowry does zero to push the needle in golf. Most of the action will be who pushes for a top 5 and that isn't too exciting

The rain and wind are going to be there all day tomorrow. They didn't push the times up to beat the weather. They pushed the times up so they can finish tomorrow even with the weather.

Nah. A well-placed bunker or tree and more penal rough can force the bombers to dial it back

Hon the irish.
I know shane personally. You couldn't meet a better person. Hope he holds on

He's a different man now

I just woke up a few minutes ago. The weather doesn't appear to be as bad as predicted. Maybe later in the day when the leaders tee off.
Posted on 7/21/19 at 6:56 am to COTiger
I didn't realize just how good of a year Koepka is having. Not only has he won the PGA, finished 2nd at the Masters and U.S. Open but he is apparently also leading the Tour de France.

Seems like everyone is 50 short of the flag on #1, clearly there’s a strategy to not being too long there?
I guess they are all trying to roll it right over that ridge and not making it
