The Open returns to Northern Ireland for the first time in almost 70 years. And the Open is now the season’s final major (which is weird). Enjoy seeing the ball bounce 100 yards and rolling onto green.

Bruce Koepka is the favorite yet again with all the other usual suspects playing well. Enjoy setting your alarms early for some 2 AM golf on Thursday.

Derp, I should read the OP. The N. Ireland angle is awesome.

The Royal course is divine. Can’t wait to watch the British Open this year! Rooting for a Rory homecoming win.

Forgot Stewart Cink had a major. I’ve blocked that tournament out of my mind.

I hope that old man who knows golf because he held the cables for a tv camera at the masters shows up this weekend.

I love watching the open every year. It’s one of those things that I have no problem waking up for

Tom fricking Watson

ETA: It still hurts me to think about that 18th hole. 8 iron from the middle of the fairway needing par and lost

Yeah, the worst part was having him hit a perfect 8 iron into 18 from like 170 yards and it be too much club. LOL

And he hit a great 8 iron. Landed 3/4 yards too long

Ehhhhh.

That was shite luck.

But that was an EASY up and down and he didn’t even get CLOSE to executing it.
