It looks like swinging a golf club is the last thing Tiger wants to be doing this week

Oh he 100% is punting on this week.

He’s figuring out(or has figured out) that he’ll only be competing when he can string together a few healthy weeks before majors. And those won’t be happening all that often.

I just don’t know why he played. It’s clear by his comments and the fact he hasn’t played in a month he knew he didn’t have the game right now. I guess you show up with the simple hope that maybe your game will just appear

Who did he let down? After about 6 holes at the PGA everyone should have felt pretty confident Tiger wasn’t winning another major this year. The guy looks like a dried up old raisin out there

I see Tiger is struggling again. He might have to win four more Masters to break Jack's record.

He won the freakin’ Masters. We’re highly content.

Tiger will never win another US or British Open. He's not consistent enough off the tee and doesn't have the strength anymore to get himself out of trouble like he could when he was younger. His only shots at majors will be at Augusta and wide open PGA venues.

He is 1 of only 3 golfers in the world to have a major title this year. So no

I agree. Maybe him and Brooks will have a shootout at the Masters.

Obviously, I meant today, but you knew that.

The PGA really screwed Tiger and other older players with the scheduling change for the majors. It's got to be tough physically and mentally for golfers to play all four majors within a 12-week span. Not a whole lot of time to recharge the batteries.

agreed, but Tiger admitted after the PGA that he probably should have played between that and the Masters. Then he does the same layoff between the US and British. I just don't know what exactly he was thinking. Why even go out there if he's not going to prepare to at least give himself a chance. He's only played in 9 events this year. He played in 2 events in the 4 weeks leading up to the Masters. Since then, this is his 4th total event. Unless he's hurt and not saying anything, it's just very puzzling at his lack of play

Rose is pretty vocal about it. Add in the Players and it’s almost impossible for the older guys to be ready for all 5 events.

To the guy saying it’s just golf and not football........be better.

Someone needs to tell Tiger he's allowed to play from the shorter grass out there. He doesn't seem to be aware.
