Seeing an NBA game in person really makes that 10 foot goal look childish, as if the game is a "joke" sport or something. TV doesn't do it justice how easy it is for them to reach that height.

I often wonder if these guys feel like tools for playing on a goal so fricking short in comparisn to their height? It's similar to me getting a game up with some friends, putting the rim at '8, then talking shite for dunking all of the time.

15: NCAA Football: in overtime, start coser to midfield. Then teams would at least have to pick up a first down or 2, instead of getting a free fg attempt without even moving the ball.

lol. So give the DB an incentive to commit PI on a pass over 15 yards? No thanks.

Would be terrible. You would never see a long pass completed again.

This question is kind of relevant here I guess:

Can someone explain to me the origin or reason behind the rule in baseball where if the catcher doesn't catch the 3rd strike, the batter can try to reach first base?

Few people know the orgin or meaning behind most rules in baseball. They just know they're never to be changed or updated.

14. Decrease the shot clock in NCAA Men's Basketball from 35 to 30 seconds - increase foul disqualification to 6 fouls from 5 fouls

Because there were no long passes completed back before they made it a spot foul.

1. No.

2. Hell no. If anything the DH needs to be removed from baseball not added to the NL.

3. No. Hell no. Spot fouls help maintain that if it would be a very very big gain that is interfered that it is not better to just take the penalty. This is a problem in college and the NCAA needs to change there rule to be more in line with the NFL.

4. No.

5. YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!

6. Yes.

7. Yes.

8. No.

9. No.

10. NO!!!!! When this happens to a star it is one of the rare things that can balance the shitty and often corrupt officiating in the NBA.

11. No.

12. frick soccer. Don't care.

13. Um...... sure.

I feel the NBA needs to get rid of the tip-off. Who really cares who gets the first possession of the game when you rotate back and forth who gets it at the beginning of quarters. It isn't like winning/losing the tip impacts the game one bit

a layup would never exist again. games would be forever because anytime the ball went inside there would be a foul

Just because a player gets 7 or 8 fouls does not eliminate free throws. After 6 you could treat it sort of like a technical, they get 2 free throws and the ball.

Basketball: An intentional foul is an intentional foul regardless of the moment at which it occurs during a game. No more fouling to force free throws at the end of games.

No.. Balls/strikes need to stay the way it is. I understand umpires make some horrible damn calls behind the plate, but the game is long enough as it is. Focus on the close plays in the field and fair/foul/Homerun calls.

They should also try to find a way to cut down on the amount of time it takes between pitches. Watching Nomar Garciaparra take 3 balls, foul off 6 pitches, and step out of the box every time and do his damn glove thing for 15-20 seconds was annoying as frick!

NFL- make a safety 5 points.. One of the most difficult things to do in football and you only get 2 points?

I dont think it would take any longer to call balls/striks. They have the thing on mlb network that shows the strike zone. Why not have that in the booth and call the strikes from there. Would eliminate all the working the ump, and different umps with different strike zones, etc. Umps should be there to enforce the rules, not put their personal signature on every game.

Call an accidental bump, trip, or armlock illegal contact like it should be.

Limit PI to situations where the DBs mug the WR or the clear intention is keep him from catching the football and keep it a spot foul.

I'm fricking sick of teams deliberately underthrowing a football when all they're looking for is a free 40 yards.
