St. Louis has some athletes and a chance to be good. They play a half game vs Sacred Heart and a half game vs CHS in the jamboree. They have a couple chances early on against 2 ranked teams to get on the committee's radar.

I was just messing around. I thought they closed already.

St Aloysius taking it all this year! Too many close calls in years past. This years team looks to be the best they have had top to bottom.

St. Theresa is no slouch. Word is they've installed a trapping 3/4 court press that will extra effective at home.

They will play through their Karl Anthony Towns type center who commands a double team in the post.

I was going to say it’s pretty ridiculous that 12 seasons in and we still don’t have scores posted in this thread throughout the season.

The Uhigh Middle School tournament the first week of February is close to capacity. Glad to see a couple CSAA teams hopping in. This event has quickly become the most competitive middle school basketball tournament in the area and gets the CSAA teams out of their comfort zones.
St. Aloyisius should get in...

7. St. Theresa – St. Theresa has one of the best combo guards in the league. He plays relentless defense and has Ty Lawson like top end speed. St. Theresa has some height, but does not appear to have enough skill to compete with the top teams in the league. The trip down to Gonzales into the hostile small gym is never an easy one to make for opposing teams to make. They will knock off a few higher ranked teams for sure.

Not looking good for my hometown entry.

All right, this is encouraging!

Honest question:

Why no write-up of ALL the teams?

No St. Jean Vianney — who BTW — defeated St. George and will play in the Finals of the SACRED HEART TOURNEY vs Mercy.

Imo - sleeper team:

* strong PG, PF and C play
