C'mon Rummy. I bet you can probably pull up everyone's IP addresses and find the one that posted from Shreveport, Baton Rouge, & New York when Ben made those moves. What else are you doing on a Friday night?

Dave just got done dragging Pageviews for months before firing him
One, Mints is a Dave hire, one who he thought would be a polarizing content guy. Turns out Mintz sucks in that space and makes no money. Not renewing him under the guise of being a bad handicapper doesn’t make the hire look terrible.
Secondly, you can tell the way Dave speaks about Mintz that he has a soft spot for him, almost feels sorry for him in a way. Mintz may jump off a bridge if he’s not renewed. But he knows he’s a shitty gambler and is dumb enough to accept that as a reason for Dave letting him walk
Dave doesn’t care that he loses bets. This “fued” is a last ditch effort to create a niche for Mintz and salvage his barstool career. If Dave has to get involved to boost your status this early in your contact you know your content is putrid

Normally I'd agree with you. With the recent loss of the call her daddy cash cow, I think there will be a lot of cuts coming at Barstool.

They are still making millions off that podcast even once they leave for Spotify and they still have two other juggernaut podcasts. They aren’t going to be hurting from losing CHD
There’s a lot more dead weight that would go well before Mintz would, like Liz.

Even in that scenario, Pageviews was the one to quit after being made to come back into the office after running around the country doing pills and girls on company dime for two years because he was mad that they were talking about giving the barstool outdoors thing to someone else
Even then Dave didn’t fire him

She doesn't do anything and as of like two weeks ago her basketball podcast, balls deep during the playoffs, was ranked like 47th in barstool podcasts behind shite like Barstool Pickem which hasn't released a new episode since football season.

Eddie is dumber than WSD. He can never ask a proper follow up question because he's so confused by every word Dave says. And he's afraid to offend anyone inside barstool so has to tiptoe around every topic.

The only thing I don’t get is why Mintz has to always be yelling in every video he posts nowadays. He wasn’t like that at 104.5 and I really enjoyed listening to him then. I remember right after barstool picked him up after his twitter video went viral, he instantly started talking differently. Almost forcing it a bit too much. Seems like a stand up guy though!
