I am starting to feel really bad for him. I like Mintz.

Nobody at barstool is a “gambling expert”. They are just guys that enjoy gambling and the more stuff like this that catches people’s attention the better for them. He’s fine.

Mintz is a great guy. His "Sup Fellas" is sort of his schtick....I think it plays well. He's not loud in real life...he's actually a really good dude. I asked him a few weeks ago if Brandon Walker was really that big of a dick, and he said no, he sort of plays a "heel" for the content. I think he os a plus for Barstool, and Portnoy obviously likes him. Mintz is seriously smart....and if he missed this weekend at the series, it's probably because there were some upsets....

He’s not though. Truth is almost nobody in general is truly a “gambling expert”, that’s why it’s called gambling. Sometimes you’re hot, sometimes you’re cold. The goal for barstool is to get eyeballs and to get you to use their Sportsbook (if you are in the right state)…not to be sharp handicappers. He’s getting more people to place bets through their platform and generating more interaction on social media. That is really all that matters.

It’s barstool. They aren’t looking for experts. They’re looking for people that can put out content. Like others have said, Mintz losing all these picks is great for building his brand.

It’s actually pretty nuts. Portnoy has 2.5 million Twitter followers and all of his tweets tonight have been about Mintz or has Mintz handle tagged 
Dave clearly likes him because he’s a genuine character and not a fake garbage schtick (Mush). Dave is probably frustrated that he can’t get anything more out of Mintz than golly gee shucks. Very funny storyline
