And for what it's worth, I think the 2011 KU team was the biggest missed opportunity. In the way of a second national title was VCU, Butler and the winner of the UCONN/Kentucky game. I think KU on paper was better than all four of those teams.

Kansas earned their 2-seed, but I think even Kansas fans felt this was a rather weak KU team. Self got the most out of this team, which just wasn't as good on paper as some of his previous outfits. winning the Big 12 was a massive accomplishment with this crew which, ironically, makes the postseason loss look worse. They weren't 2-seed good, even though they had a 2-seed's resume, if that makes sense.
It's hard to hold this one against Kansas. 2010 and 2011... definitely. VCU hammered them.

Let's Geaux Shockers! KU was soft this year. Perry and Landon Lucas are a poor excuse for big men and inexperienced guard play did the Hawks in all year. They would have taken Tyshawn Taylor over the poor guards they put on the floor all year. Billy was out coached and out manned. Good coaching, experience, and hard nosed players won this game for the Shox and nobody should be surprised!

Yes. They're one of the most offensively efficient teams in the country. They're gonna test Kentucky's defense. If they get hot from the perimeter it could be an issue.
