I guess they waited just long enough so he wouldn’t get this year as qualified service time? shite like this HAS to go in the next CBA.

That was their initial plan, but he’s been hurt and didn’t start playing AAA games until a week ago.

He got hurt to start the year, but okay.

Yeah but let’s listen to the screaming tards in here

Didn’t help their affiliate was in in Buffalo and they didn’t want him doing rehab in the cold.

Yeah I know. Not many people can be worth 0.0 WAR after 100 plate appearances this year like Soto.

He wasn't going to be on the opening day roster this year - hurt or not - and it has everything to do with service time. Let's not act otherwise.

What a jerkoff comment.

That's literally is meaningless in April. Especially since he homered again today

He’s not wrong. And yay, Soto homered @Coors. No one has ever done that. Chris Davis homered yesterday, we going to celebrate?

Soto is overrated. The entire Nationals offense is overrated with the exception of Rendon. Not to mention the worst bullpen I’ve ever seen and I’m an Orioles fan. Rizzo needs to be canned.

What about shite like a guy getting $23M to go 0-54?

Bad and good contracts happen in every sport. Manipulation of service time to keep a MLB ready player like Vlad Jr in the minor leagues is unique to baseball and not in it's best interest.

He is a 20 year old with a career OBP over .400. A career OPS north of .900. He is and will be a monster. His 3 year ZiPs projections are bonkers.
