1 of the 4 women still suing Watson has filed a civil lawsuit filed today against the Houston Texans. I think this is new info about what the Texans knew about Watson: The lawsuit says the owner of the massage business the Texans use complained to the team about Watson's behavior
quote:
the lawsuit also says that employees of the massage therapy business contracted by the Texans were aware that Watson had, "humped the table" and "left a wet spot."
quote:
The lawsuit also says that Texans trainer Roland Ramirez helped set up Watson's membership at the Houstonian hotel and that he'd received complaints from the manager of the Houstonian about the number of women coming to his room there.
quote:
the lawsuit also includes an excerpt of Ramirez' deposition, where he talks about Watson asking to borrow a massage table, and thinking that was a strange request.
quote:
The lawsuit also includes an excerpt from HPD detective Kamesha Baker's deposition, which says that the owner of the massage business the texans contract with, told her she knew about Watson's "towel trick."

NFL is going to have no choice but to keep Deshaun suspended until all of this is worked out.
All the facts of what did or didn’t happen aside, there’s just too much lingering around the situation. It’s a bad look.

How tiny is this guy’s weenie to be able to hump a table comfortably and get off?

Well you sue where the monies at.
Just like people have sued car manufacturers for accidents instead of the driver.

This is only about money. A simple money grab

Deshaun deserves life in prison more than he ever deserves to play in the NFL again.
This level of deviancy isn’t something that can be successfully rehabilitated.
He’s an apex sexual predator and buying his way out of the situation with few consequences will likely only embolden him, rather than give him a wake up call large enough to change his fricked up brain chemistry and lack of overall moral compass.

Bring me the evidence versus hearsay and let’s talk

He should have just visited eros-houston.com and no one would have known about his fetishes.

Wonder if the Houstonian will be brought in as a defendant as well

My impression is he was an inappropriate horndog who likes masseuses. His vulgar antics worked half the time and he got laid. How are you supposed to tell him to stop after someone calls to complain, when he's already successfully done it twice since then? This is his game.

One of the official team masseuses was fricking him during massages.

If Watson did do what he is accused of, the Texans covered it up and enabled his behavior. It was only after Watson refused to play for the Texans that all this came out.
If the accusations are contrived, as I believe they are, it's almost certain that Texans ownership were the creators - in response to Watson refusing to play for them and the Texans subsequently not being able to trade him for what they wanted in return. Basically, the Texans saying, "if you won't play for us, we'll make sure you don't play at all."
Would love to see the Texans punished severely for their role in this. But I'm not holding my breath.

Looks like the Texans are on the hook for not responding to complaints, even though one of the complaining company's own masseuses was fricking him, but there's no way they orchestrated this unless they hypnotized Watson to get a massive boner every time he saw a massage table.

The timing of it all almost guarantees that this is what happened. The Texans were keeping all this quiet while Watson was playing for them.
It can't be just coincidence that all this suddenly came out after Watson refused to play for them anymore and they couldn't trade him for what they wanted in return.

You don't find it at all strange or coincidental that of all 24 girls, exactly 0 of them went to the police to report the rape and all 24 "randomly" ended up with the same 1 lawyer, who is a known sleazy lawyer in the Houston area?
None of that explicitly means he never raped anyone, but does none of that make you pause at all, not even a little?

A majority of the women contacted Busby after he held a press conference asking others to step forward, I believe he started it out with two or three. Also going to the police doesn't get you paid which is probably the first thing these women thought about when it happened.

Again, doesn't guarantee anything. Just hearing those details, I wouldn't be placing any bets on being so certain that he did rape any of the girls.

You have the timeframe completely messed up. He asked for the trade, and the Texans were listening to offers when this popped up. Why would Houston do this knowing it would lower his value and complicate a trade?
Personally, I hope this blows up and McNair has to sell the team and takes Easterby with him. However, they are stating that the Texans should be held liable for what Watson did, which seems like a stretch to me. Imagine if all employers were held responsible for actions of all of the individuals they employ. You can argue that they supported this by providing an NDA and a massage table, but the NDA was created due to someone leaking his cell phone # and they can say they were trying to keep their star QB happy without knowledge of his actions. They probably did ignore complaints, but how many and how high in the organization did those complaints go?

Shel,
You don’t find it coincidental that there are like 60 women with the same story & only 24 decided to sue?
You rolling with the 60 women made up a story?
