Can't win everynight, just have to win most nights... 
Seriously though law of averages, we caught bad breaks and had a losing night, you still hit 40% on a bad night. A good night is 70%+. I think most everyone on here is willing to take the bad with good. I try not to beat myself up over every loss, but I'm never happy about it either.

the close losses stung more and more as they piled up..

Kinda had the same feeling. I think I originally liked the thought of being one of those twitter sharps that had thousands of followers, and maybe even some famous followers, like SVP. But I've realized there comes some bad with that as well, and that I'm happy just making myself and the solid group of posters who follow me here some money.

I have an ANN system that is about 60% on NBA totals over the last 100 games.. It went 6-2 tonight... But im scared to jinx it by posting the plays

I think you have potential to do that if you still want. You got the catchy name and bet something people like to bet on widely available lines. I guess I took 5dimes for granted; didn't realize non-1Q lines weren't available on the majority of books.
