I may be wrong, but I think you place the ball where it made contact with the ground, not where it ends up.

Y’all don’t know the rules of golf. It must stay within two club lengths. After two drops you can place.

I was kind of rooting against Scheffler but I googled his wife and stumbled across some articles about him. I like him now and his wife is cute and seems cool
