Man y’all took a joke way too seriously. On a risk adjusted basis, Langer is a better bet. It’s undeniable.

Not to insert myself into this because I really don't care but

Neither will win so both bets are bad. If both outcomes have the same result, how/why is one preferable to the other at all? Its not like you get some of your money back if Langer finishes higher.

Which is why I said it as a joke because Langer has the 3rd worst odds along with Singh and the old timers. Woods is my favorite athlete ever I’m not trying to be one of those mouth breathers that said and will say he’ll never win again. He’ll be a top 10-15 iron player this week if he plays.

Morikawa says Tiger is the best Iron player on the face of the Earth still at his best. If he manages to play and is feeling decent doing it, he will be a top 3 iron player out there. No question about it.

Watching Golf channel coverage and they're showing Tiger warming up. It is so apparent he is walking gingerly and his gait is affected but the announcers haven't mentioned it one bit. I don't doubt on the practice range he's striping it. But walking 72 holes at Augusta? I have my doubts.

Still one of the best and most effortless moves through the golf ball ever, even with a bummed leg and bad back. Looking forward to see how it plays out over the week and hopefully he can give it a go.

He looked like he was strutting like a rutting buck down the first fairway with JT to me. I didn’t see any signs of discomfort and that 1st fairway is as hilly as it gets

Absolutely & that's why (depending on his leg) he has a chance to win it whenever he plays. I got pretty excited just reading about his practice round on the back 9 yesterday. I hope he plays.

quote:

After missing the 10th and 11th greens, he found the par-3 12th green, reached the par-5 13th in two shots. After finding a greenside bunker at the par-3 16th, Woods hit another tee shot to within a few feet. He hit perhaps his best iron shots to the 17th and 18th greens.

Woods was expected to be at Augusta National on Monday afternoon for more practice.

I saw this at the PNC in December, but haven't seen what you're seeing in any of the footage they've shown from Augusta the past few days

Well I can die a happy man.

What a day.

If anyone is wondering, Tiger’s leg looks like it might fall off. On some of the hills, down 6 for example, it didn’t look like he could make it.

Dan Rapaport claims his ball speed is low 170s and he can get it up to 176 when he needs to

We all read about it and know heading into it that the course is going to blow away our already high expectations, but man is it still hard to believe.

The elevation is just bonkers. It’s insane.

And the spots you can get to and views from them are out of this world.

Sitting in the middle of #6 with 16 green to your right is the best view I’ve ever seen. I could have sat there all day and been happy.

We’ve all been there, right

Fred Couples after todays practice round with Tiger: “If he can walk 72 holes he can contend. He’s just too good.”

Early in the day it was really easy to slip around and see everything from any view you wanted. There were a good amount of people on the grounds but there was no problem moving or getting next to the ropes.

When Tiger walked out the putting green….things changed
