It's between the top-3 but Harrington is the favorite for a reason

He's been playing decent on the Euro Tour in 2022 and made the cut at the API. Honestly, its him or Langer. I'll take the guy who's closest to 50. There's also a very high chance they all miss the cut. The ones below Couples are just out there making an appearance.

Freddie would have 20 green jackets if the tournament was 1 day long.

It amazes me how far he can still hit the ball at his age with his back and really how far he's always been able to hit it at his size with a swing that looks like he's barely giving any physical exertion. Just such a physically unassuming looking guy but still can get to ball speeds in the mid to upper 160s, which is about the tour average. That's just wild to me.

I’m considering throwing about $300 on Cam Smith to win as my only bet.. I think it’s his week.

Tiger Woods is the only player to win the Players Championship and Masters in the same year.

Cam is decent but he's being a bit overpriced going into the tournament.

These stats are misleading though.

How many players have made the cut at the Players and won the Masters in the same year? Probably a good bit more than just Tiger.

Cam’s chances to win the Masters are not worse because he won the Players instead of just making the cut. But yes, he is higher priced because of this.

Is anyone else streaming the par 3 contest even though it’s in a weather delay? It’s the most peaceful thing I’ve ever listened to.

While objectively true, winning the Players doesn't make it less likely someone wins the Masters. It's also rather meaningless because the players for about 20 years was played 5 weeks after the Masters not a month before until a few years ago. It's just a random stat that doesn't really have meaning or any sort of predictive value. There have been plenty of players who have performed well at both the same year

I did the same thing. Put it on to watch while I was working and just left the birds on.

That’s probably not the best way to think about forecasting a winner

Langer is not a bad play. He has some top ten finishes in the PGA Championships Tour this year. Although, this is a step up in competition for him
