What is Phil doing?

He basically had Callaway put his driver shaft into a 3 wood head (about 250cc) that he's playing at 8-9 degrees. He says it is really hot. I think it's the x hot fairway head.

All I can say for Phil is...

"I'm such an idiot!"

I need to do this.

I can not hit big headed drivers worth a crap. I hit 3W off the tee.

Phil wants to shape his shots better. Shotmakers course.

Look at the short hitters who won Augusta. Bunch of them. They put the ball in perfect position.

Just got my Masters Calcutta team: Rory, Furyk, Schwartzel, Couples, Bo Van Pelt, Fredrik Jacobson, Toms.

22 teams and we take the low 4 scores.. only a few more hours til it begins!

That's a nice team. I really like Van Pelt and Jacobson this week.

One of those synthetic greens or you going to do it right?

I don't know, because I can probably do both fairly easily. I'm just not sure I want to keep up with the maintenance of a natural surface.

A real grass putting green would be hard to maintain in your back yard. But would be badass.

Synthetic would probably be easier, and more customizable. Probably cheaper in the long run too.
