nah...there are other players who the media fricking loves to clout like Rory
But yeah, if some random international player sneaks through and wins again the media may not like it
BUT I DONT CARE. ITS THE MASTERS. LET THE BEST MAN WIN

quote:probably not. He is held to the Tiger standard of years gone by. Until he passes Jack, I think the fans/media will consider it a disappointment. He set the bar really high for himself.
I was gonna make another thread about this but I figured everyone who cares is in here...
In the eyes of te fans/media will the Masters be considered a disappointment if they don't win for anyone else besides Tiger?
IMO, I don't think it matters. I think he's going to win one Major, and then he's going go on a run and win a ton of majors within 5 years. Once he gets #15, I think #20 will follow within a few years. He just needs #15 to get over the hump.

I'm really hoping this is true.

I think Tiger is finally back and takes this years Masters.
However if he doesn't win, I'd like to see Bubba win again.

It's Augusta, unless there's some crazy weather or something the top guys on the leader boards usually murder the course bc they know it so well. I think that's what's so exciting about the Masters, tons of Birdies

We definitely had some of that last year on the back nine for a little while...
Both Westy and Kuch put up a little fight before folding on the last couple holes

Posted on 4/10/13 at 10:44 am to Tiger Ryno
Maybe he'll be posting from Augusta...
Posted on 4/10/13 at 10:45 am to unbeWEAVEable

Most Masters are won by somebody making shots on the back 9 on Sunday. Very rarely is somebody just trying to hold on to a lead while everyone else bogeys. The reachable par 5's make for some great excitement and a chance for anyone close to make a big run.

Other than the shitter at the Masters, where is Zee nowadays? Still in Houston at Dick's?

I threw Dufner, Russel Henley and Angel Cabrera into our betting pool. I'm just hoping they all make the cut
