So if you purchased 100,000 barrels @ -$40.32/bbl, they would pay you $4.032 million?

And the 100,000 barrels is yours to sell at your convenience?

I’m trying to figure out how to skirt all them myself. I just want to make sure everyone is aware there are actual laws.

This may be a dumb question

Could we end up seeing shortages at some point? Why pump when it has crashed like this

Not dumb at all. We could absolutely get whipsawed in 2021 or 2022 if US domestic drilling is crippled.

If we can find a way to kick off a war at the same time, the government will buy it before any real investigations can begin.

Do we have 10 volunteers to go be kidnapped by ISIS next week?

Speculators will be losing money by taking delivery

Is this like when Zack and Screech bought stock in potatoes on "margarine" and the price tanked so Miss Bliss ended up with sacks and sacks of potatoes?

I got it.

Buy a depleted well for cheap and 1 million barrels of oil.

They pay you $30 million to take delivery. Profit.

Now $37 million.

Me too.
I'm so worried about my job situation that I'm really too scared to buy anything. I may research in my Fidelity 401-K plan and see about moving some money around.

We kinda did in late 90s when it rebounded. Can't just shut well in and reopen it by turning a valve to my knowledge. Not sure what kind of issues all these frac'd holes would have it they a shut in. Work over before starting back or drill another.

How about buying a few barges worth. Probably cheaper to just store it on the river somewhere.

Buy a 1,000 bbl tank for $9,500.

They pay you $35k at current price to take delivery.

Store oil and sell when price rebounds.
