I'm just defending my investment while trying to educate the uneducated.

I'm not a day trader. I'm mostly concerned with longterm trends.

I think it's ridiculous to dunk on something that's up 2,000,000x in 10 years with increasing global adoption because of a few red months. Then when asked why, the person didn't even know what the hell he was talking about even on an elementary level.

Well, did you back the truck up and load it with BC?

I am holding out for 15k to be reached.

Good thing you held off, 3AC is about to go insolvent. Most if not all VCs to follow.

Here's the difference: The underlying technology of Pets.com didn't crash or go away. Chewy.com exists today and runs on the same technology as Pets.com. It's the same for a lot of crypto projects. Think of things like Ethereum as HTTP and Bitcoin as TCP/IP. It is architecture that products are built upon.

This is the main reason I held back - and will continue holding back even though we are sub $20k. 3AC contagion hasn't fully played out yet IMO

You're in luck. Under 18k as of this writing.

Tulips was a fad and emblematic of the herd mentality driving up the cost of something that had very little intrinsic value.

Pets.com failed. They didn’t put together a viable business.

This is reassuring. It’s basically pets.com 2.0. … if you liked pets.com, you’ll really love chewy.com. Better yet, it’s brought to you by the same guy running GameStop. What could possibly go wrong?

Webvan was essentially way ahead of it's time - and it's obviously viable because there are many clones of it now (including Amazon). They were one of the biggest busts of the .com era - and they had a good idea.

Yeah, a lot of the companies that went down in the dot com bust had good ideas that have now been realized by other companies.

Being ahead of your time is a bitch. You're a sacrificial lamb for the circling copy-cat buzzards.

I thought I was go in when ETH hit $1k but.. Nope.

Not usually one for timing the market, but with VCs and major centralized cryoto banks going insolvent or having massive layoffs, stocks still tanking, and what looks like a recession coming.. There's just no way we've hit bottom yet.

Maybe ETH at $500

Why are you pumping Wareen Buffet so hard as knowing his shite when your posted investment strategy tendencies indicate that you and he only see eye to eye with crypto?
