Where you putting $6000 in a Traditional IRA before the end of the year?

Current money is in some mutual funds but would like to throw it on a stock I think. More fun anyway.

You can make 2022 IRA contributions until April 18, 2023. And you can go $7k if 50 or older.

All of mine is in funds as well but I stuck my 6k in Intel this year cause I was feeling frisky as well. Tech + 5% dividend.. if they can’t fix their shite in the next ~25 years then future me will call present me a turd head.

Make a financial plan might be better advice than where to put $6k today.
As this is a retirement account,
my retirement part of financial plan has a timeline, risk appetite, and a specific role (this IRA) has in funding our retirement.
If me, for all above reasons, this is going in VASGX. Index/low cost fund that matches retirement timeline, risk appetite and tax strategy of retirement plan (eg, IRA May be pulled upon sooner than Roth once retired).
My 2 cents, hopefully pun. Good luck!
