I've got a small chunk of change that I'm gonna use in a couple months for a purchase. Bank rates are terrible right now.
Which would be a better short term buy for 2-3 months then sell? AAPL OR TSLA? I figured they would get better than 1% bank gains.

AAPL.

TSLA just announced it was going to sell 5 billion worth of stock, which is end up lowering the price.

I would not buy TSLA unless you want to be watching the ticker screen all day every day. I have no idea when the fun ends, but it will have a violent correction at some point.

Can anyone not see Apple going way up from here? Cook is very smart and i think the timing of the split was to get the run of stock buyers before the 5G flood.

So this is money that you’re going to NEED and you’re going to make a trade that’s time bound?

OK. Just asking. Good luck.

I think AAPL is a great long term buy also. Do you see them slowing down anytime soon?

For me it would be TSLA. The upside is huge as I assume most are in this play for the speculation on space. They will be a leader in the space frontier without a doubt. Space is going to be huge business.

I thought SpaceX was an entirely different company. It's not part of Tesla, is it?

I mean, I think it gives Musk positive exposure which can spill over to Tesla, I just didn't think their actual earnings were together.

I've read where they may use positioning thrusters off their rockets on the new roadster. The piece I read mentioned it will allow the roadster to go 0-60 in less than 2 seconds. It's also being researched to implement them in all their cars for accident avoidance.
