If investment, What is the underlying measure for which you can ascertain value?

Around 11k is the price I’m waiting on. Hopefully it will hold there. If not, then who knows.

Bitcoin took a dump yesterday
At this level @16,500 how does anyone know if it is undervalued, overvalued or fairly valued?
People love the lack of accountability for crypto currencies but that is a big double edged sword.
People should be asking themselves who is being bitcoin. Let’s say China is ultimately behind bitcoin and they created it to try to bring down the USDollar and other competing currencies… is that something you want to be owning?

You could say the same thing at $10.
And I do.
This is not like a financial security that has intrinsic value. It pays no dividends. It gives you no ownership to anything. There are no earnings, no balance sheets, no forecasts. It is 100% pure speculation.
The only real value it has is that it can buy other things, like any other money, but even THAT is limited now.
I don't hold the US dollar as an investment, either.

How'd you land on that price?

Year 2048. BTC has dropped 50% from all time high of 2.8 Million dollars to 1.4 million dollars.

Proves the adage that a fool and his money are easily parted.
But when all the fools part with their money together and consistently you get crypto.

Just dollar cost average small amounts weekly. It’s a long term play.
