What to do with unwanted gift cards?

I have a few gift cards
Longhorn
Honey Baked Ham
Some Mexican Restaurant that is closed
AMC
Etc....
Found a website but you list the card and someone has to buy the card. Is there a place you can exchange and get the cash off of the card for a fee?

Family member. Give discount. Post on social media. Give discount.

What about cards for places that have closed? Lost?

Well they certainly aren’t gonna redeem em lol

There’s an app called Raise that I’ve gotten rid of a few on before. You’ll have to discount them a bit to love them

Unless they're high value doesn't seem like it would be worth hassle with the fees/discount to sell or exchange. I'd either just use them (you gotta eat) or give them to a friend or relative that would appreciate the gesture and put them to good use. (Not as a holiday or b-day gift) just a "hey I appreciate you and thought you might enjoy this card I found lying around" heck take someone out to eat and just get a drink if you hate the food.

Give them to a child to play with. Nobody else is going to give you anything for them.

You don’t like steak? Or ham? Give them to a hungry person.

Thought there used to be a place that would buy them for a hefty fee or that you could convert to cash

You can buy porn with them, no joke

People that will buy gift cards for places that are no longer in business or cards that are lost? That’s what I was responding to. I seriously doubt it, but maybe you are correct.

I don't follow. If the place is out of business and has no affiliate businesses it's going to be worthless.

There are websites that will buy them from you for cash or exchange them. I use CardCash.com when I want to exchange one out for something I would prefer.

Send 'em my way. I'll give you ten cents on the dollar

CardCash or CardPool. I used to sell $5k annually in unwanted gift cards.

Have a gas station in BR corner of College and Corporate that has a sign that they will purchase them. I want to say .60 on the dollar.
