Is it possible that "the ratio" shifted because of a mass influx of outsiders? Sure. Is it also possible that Trump's actions are outside of the norm, even for Trump, which is causing a shift in said "ratio"? Absolutely.

Just my opinion, but I view the latter to be far more likely than the former.

Hilarious that this is getting so downvoted DU apparently sent some people to the money board. The ratios lately are very out of character for this place.

I think the MT is a little pissed at Trump lately and instinctively downvotes anything pro-Trump as if it’s from one of the f PT spillover Trump Fanatics.

Got it.
No, you don't 'got it.' Your reply was borderline retarded.

Those "screaming" don't then get in front of a camera and microphone and say, "We screamed because we wanted to move the stock market for our benefit."

Trump came real close to saying that's what he did.

Whole bunch of random slapdicks around the world have TDS then.

Most people around the world don’t follow our daily politics with bated breath. They see/hear the big, or interesting, or dumb. And in the last few weeks, Trump has served up quite a bit that has caught their attention.

He’s the president of the most powerful nation in the world. Whatever he says/tweets in general is “market manipulation” if we’re going with a broad definition. As far as labeling it illegal, good luck.
Yeah I don’t get the angle either. I don’t see any problem with him straight up saying “I was picking up a bit too much stress from capital markets so I decided to lend a hand”. His purview is pretty damn broad.

I honestly think all of the other nations clamoring for negotiations…which will all take time….and the market swinging 1000 pts a day caught him by surprise.

I can see him saying “this is nuts…let’s hold 60 days and get the deals made for those asking….but screw Chy Na”

The European Union will pause the adoption of its retaliatory tariffs on a swathe of U.S. goods for 90 days, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, a day after the White House issued a reprieve on most of its own levies.

EU members voted in favor of the package on Wednesday in response to U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum.
