Tim Scott would be a perfect Presidential nominee for the Money Board types, no?

Doesn't draw too much attention to himself and stays mostly under the radar. Doesn't have the baggage of Trump or DeSantis. He could be a calming force the country needs. Wouldn't the markets prefer the stability and less drama/chaos someone like him would bring?

Tim Scott honestly looks like the least-bad candidate so far IMO. He's less of a right-authoritarian than Trump or DeSantis, and he's less of a war hawk than Haley. Maybe he's too boring? But that is probably a good thing in this age.

I like him. He's saying the right stuff right now.

What baggage does DeSantis have?

Trump is Trump

Trump is Trump. Nothing needs to be said there.

Not sure how many independents DeSantis would win over with his own-the-libs platform. Not sure there is much beyond that.

Nikki will probably get us into a war with China over Taiwan.

Tim Scott seems like a perfectly acceptable candidate to me. Too bad it seems like you can't win the Republican primary these days unless you are ultra MAGA.

You mean the guy who said Biden isn’t giving Ukraine enough support? Tim Scott is a joke.

First the OT now MT. Get outta here w this please. You'll draw in the lunatic fringe. Soon there'll no where to go to escape the politics talk. (This is coming from a conservative who majored in Poli Sci)

Definitely not the best strategy on how to win the GOP primary

I want whoever reduces Federal spending, including the Industrial Military Complex. Trump didn’t do that the first time. I can excuse the Covid payments, but not beyond that.

Ive always liked him but hes about to experience racism like he probably never has. They'll trash him like they did Ben Carson. I hope he has the fortitude for whats about to happen to him.

Scott is a DEI George W. Bush. Totally curated candidate controlled by his handlers and the establishment. He’d be better than Biden but that is about it.

Listening to Tim Scott’s announcement yesterday, I had flashbacks to Howard Dean’s infamous New Hampshire squeal. Scott is going to need to work on that going forward.
