I'm predicting a pretty sizable sell off next week after Tuesday's election.

Bought some VXX on Monday in preparation. You think the Dems are going to win more than expected?

I would think you are right, but I have to say, I've been really surprised with how well this economy has done under current leadership. I could also see it do well from the gridlock thats expected.

Wouldn't Republicans taking back control of the House and Senate give people a restored sense of hope in the economy and thus lead to more investing?
I'm not saying I disagree I am just trying to understand your logic.

Plus, I don't think the senate majority party will change, so some investors will be disappointed about that.
Once the votes are counted and everyone realizes that the President is the same as before the election and that congress is still the same congress until January, there will be a pull back.
I may be wrong, but it's my gut telling me that.
Then again, maybe it's just gas....

Baring a successful terrorist attack or other such calamity, I think the market will end the year higher than it is now.
I just think we will see a brief but significant (50-75 points on the S&P) pullback from today's levels.

I think this is a safe bet. No matter what happens, there should be some serious volatility this week.

Generally one of the worst retail products in existence. Be careful with it.

Took a decent position in RWM and took a lot of profits in my existing stock holdings. A change in Rep or Dem isn't gonna impact the long term economic disaster the Fed is conjuring.
