Recently the market has been pricing in a Trump victory, with money violently rotating from Tech to Value.
Now we don't even know who is going to be the Democrat Nominee, and likelihood of a Trump Victory will have to be recalculated based on the Dem Nominee.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting.

Meh.
This just solidified that Trump is going to be president, but they already had kind of assumed that anyway

You're assuming that it will be Cackles.
And you also underestimate the number of women that weren't going to vote for Biden, that will now vote just to elect the first woman.
Women are far more in their psychotic feminist mindset than they were 8 years ago when Hillary lost.
If it ends up being Hillary, Newsome, or God Forbid Big Mike who knows.

Even so, I think that people are underestimating the possibility that women that weren't going to Vote Biden will now get caught up in the "Elect the first woman, and a black woman at that"'..

The market has already tanked big the last 2 days, so maybe tomorrow's selling won't be that bad.

The market isn't rotating to value because of Trump/Biden.

It's because the market thinks there are rate cuts in September.

The market has been expecting rate cuts for a long time.

Futures are flat, so the market isn't freaking out yet about Biden.
Last week was worst week since April, so that should help alleviate some potential pullback on this news.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more red days as this news continues to unfold.

Actually futures for all three major averages are up nicely right now.

I'm considering putting in a pre-market trading order for something I bought Friday afternoon when I did a little bottom fishing...

Nobody thought Trump was going to lose or Biden was going to win. Whoever the democrats nominate is will lose. It’s too late to start a real campaign. And the nominee might not even be on the ballot in some states like Iowa and Florida. As long as Trump doesn’t do anything absolutely insane, he should win the election. Things are more certain than ever.

Joe just joined less than a month ago.
Let’s try to figure out which alter he is.

Dow down a little, S&P flat, Nasdaq up a little.
So far the Biden resignation is a big nothing burger.

Meh. I'm not sure this is true. Certainly they seem more vocal, but I sense a pushback towards traditional values. All the trans overriding women's rights, the TERFs have their backs up, etc. You may very well be right, but I don't sense it is as solid as you suggest.

First of all - a likeable woman candidate would have the advantage you speak of. I'm not sure that Kamala is significantly more likeable than HRC.

What am I missing?

Wrong.

Analyst on CNBC just said that today is a reversal of the Trump Trade because wall street perceives any Democrat Candidate as having a better chance of winning than Biden.(Dow is down, Nasdaq up).

Polls show Trump +5 over Biden, but only +2 over Kamala

Unless you’re an active trader, don’t worry about the minute by minute changes in the major indices. And if you are an active trader, what the DJIA is doing wouldn’t mean much to you. As of right now (10:40AM ET), the SPX is up about 50 points, the NDX is up 290 and yes, the DJIA is also up by about 140.

This is why I don't understand a lot of the celebration around TD.

Even if you think Trump stills wins (as I do), he definitely has a smaller chance this morning than he did yesterday morning.

That's what I was saying yesterday on the Poli Board.
Apparently that makes me a liberal commie incel fig, even though I want Trump to win
